On the 15th of July 2024 at 10:00 PM Rwandan time, Oda Gasinzigwa, the director of the Rwanda National Election Council (NEC), announced the preliminary results of today’s Presidential Election. President Paul Kagame of the RPF has secured victory, ensuring his leadership of Rwanda for the next five years. The announcement encompassed votes tallied from both the Diaspora and all districts across the country.
Expressing gratitude, Oda Gasinzigwa thanked Rwandans for their overwhelming participation, which exceeded 98%.
Oda Gasinzigwa declared that Paul Kagame of the RPF emerged victorious with 99.15% of the vote. Dr. Frank Habineza of the Green Party followed with 0.53%, and Mpayimana Philippe garnered 0.32% of the votes.

NEC has specified that the provisional results will be announced no later than the 20th of July 2024, and the final results will be announced by the 27th of July 2024
